When I was young, my father planted several species of trees on our property. The walnut fascinated me more than all the others. I knew that one day we would have nuts… Perhaps it is this youthful love that makes me appreciate the tree.
Walnuts are elegant. Their foliage is a luminous green. Their leaves, composed of 11 to 17 leaflets, dance in even the slightest breeze. And I love to visit this collection in each of the seasons, since each season brings so many changes to this collection.
